ECR Party appoints Polish MP Radosław Fogiel as new Executive Vice-President

Law and Justice representative in the Presidency of the European Conservatives and Reformists Party

The ECR Party Presidency met this Monday 2nd August 2021 and voted unanimously to appoint Radosław Fogiel as Executive Vice-President of the European party. He will continue the work of Mrs. Anna Fotyga MEP, that received thanks from all the members for all these years of great service and dedication.

The Presidency of the Party congratulates Mr. Fogiel for his new position and is honored to count with him. Born in 1982, he is member of Polish Parliament, Law and Justice’s International Secretary and Deputy Spokesperson. Before being elected to Parliament he worked as Chief of Staff of Law and Justice’s President, Mr. Jarosław Kaczyński who proposed him for this important position. Radosław Fogiel will work in close collaboration with Vice-President Jorge Buxadé MEP (VOX, Spain).

During this meeting, it was also approved unanimously to propose to the Council the acceptance of Romanian party AUR as Member of the ECR Party. An important first step for the Alliance for the Union of Romanians, which has 13 senators and 30 deputies in Romanian bicameral Parliament to join the European Conservatives family. President Giorgia Meloni stated “the ECR Party is our European house where we will continue to work together, stronger and united for the future of our nations”.
