The European Conservatives and Reformists Party (ECR Party), formerly known as the Alliance of Conservatives and Reformists in Europe (ACRE), is a European political party registered with the Authority for European Political Parties and European Political Foundations (APPF) in accordance with Regulation (EU, Euratom) 2025/2445 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the statute and funding of European political parties and European political foundations.
In accordance with Regulation (EU, Euratom) 2025/2445, the ECR Party fully respects the values on which the European Union is founded, as set out in Article 2 of the Treaty on European Union, including respect for human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law, and respect for human rights, including the rights of persons belonging to minorities.
The ECR Party is recognised and partially funded by the European Parliament. The views and opinions expressed by the Party do not necessarily reflect those of the European Parliament.
The ECR Party submits its annual financial statements and all other reports required under Regulation (EU, Euratom) 2025/2445 to the APPF and to the competent authorities within the applicable statutory deadlines. The Party’s accounts are audited annually by an independent external auditor in accordance with the applicable legal framework.
The ECR Party remains fully committed to complying with all legal, financial, governance, transparency and administrative obligations applicable under Regulation (EU, Euratom) 2025/2445. Compliance with these obligations is supervised by the Authority for European Political Parties and European Political Foundations (APPF), in cooperation with the competent institutions of the European Union.
