A delegation from the ECR Party  including the President and Secretary General  took part in discussions at The Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C., focused on the India, Middle East Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC).

IMEC connects India, the Middle East, and Europe through trade routes, ports, and digital infrastructure. The project offers an alternative path for cooperation beyond existing global initiatives. During the exchange, ECR representatives addressed the role of national sovereignty, regional coordination, and the need for secure and practical links between continents.

The ECR Party supports cooperation based on mutual interest and dialogue between nations. The development of IMEC offers an opportunity to deepen cooperation with partners across the Mediterranean and Indo-Pacific regions, while exploring stable and secure trade and infrastructure pathways.
