ECR Party in Texas

Strengthening transatlantic cooperation in times of change
The visit of the ECR Party President to Texas brought together discussions with policymakers, academics, and business leaders in Houston centered on energy security, economic cooperation, and the evolving role of Europe in the transatlantic partnership.

At the Baker Institute, Rice University, a fireside chat with Ambassador David Satterfield explored how Europe and the United States can jointly respond to global security challenges, promote economic resilience, and support a just and lasting peace in Ukraine.

Engagements with the Polish-American Chamber of Commerce highlighted the growing role of Central Europe in shaping the EU’s future, an approach based on diversity of perspectives rather than uniformity of direction.

The meeting at Texas A&M University provided a platform for dialogue on education, leadership, and civic responsibility, emphasising the importance of preparing a new generation capable of leading through complexity.

Over the course of the visit, one message remained clear:
A strong and confident Europe, anchored in transatlantic cooperation, is vital for global stability and shared prosperity.

The ECR Party expresses its gratitude to all partners, hosts, and participants for their openness, engagement, and vision for the future of Europe–US relations.
