This morning meeting between the President of Fratelli d’Italia and European Conservatives (ECR Party), Giorgia Meloni, and the President of the ECR Group in the Committee of the Regions, Wladyslaw ORTYL.

At the center of the conversation, which was also attended by the President of the Abruzzo Region and Vice-President of the ECR Group in the CoR Marco Marsilio, the work of ECR in the European body that represents local and regional authorities in the European Union and provides advisory opinions on European legislation that impacts on regions and cities.

Among the issues addressed was the migration crisis affecting the EU’s external borders: ORTYL is in fact president of the Podkarpackie region, a border territory between Poland and Ukraine, and a member of PiS, the governing party in Warsaw.
